When I'm not staring at a screen, I’m either reading classic literature and questioning my life or playing chess to “relax” and somehow ending up more stressed than before.
Didn't need a degree to get interested. Started writing code before college was even a decision. The logic of it, the way a program does exactly what you tell it and nothing else, that was enough. CS wasn't a career choice. It was the obvious next step.
First year of college, stumbled into HTML and CSS. Realised you could write something and see it immediately in a browser, looking like something real. That feedback loop was addictive. Went from static pages to JavaScript to "why does this feel different from everything else I've built." The answer was web development. Haven't looked back.
A summer internship at ShadowFox showed the gap between building things and shipping things. React SPAs with real constraints, real deadlines, real feedback. That's when full-stack stopped meaning "I know both sides" and started meaning the whole product holds together auth, database, API, UI, all of it yours. SIH 2025 and the SAP EduBridge program the same year. The pace got serious.
Targeting a third-year internship where the work is hard, the feedback is direct, and the product actually matters to people. Preferably at a startup that moves fast and doesn't treat craft as optional.
